MAY THE BEST COFFEE SHOP WIN!!! (An analysis)

➊ Could the sites do anything better to present the actual interior atmosphere of their shop?

Coffee Island -  Exemplary, shows an interior that has people and staff inside

Prufrock - shows empty seats and exterior, feels quite clinical despite likely being the smallest brand.

Starbucks - only exterior again feels corporate due to lack of images aside from products.

➋ Were there any other qualities about the different sites that this activity didn't take into account?

Which menu is best divided - some do a list, some divided, others - not a single menu in sight

➌ If you were asked to work with a team to build a new coffee shop's website - which example would you be more influenced by and why?

Coffee Island - it understands 'the coffee shop experience' and is near perfection aside from missing an in-store menu

➍ If you were making a site for a different purpose (eg. portfolio site), what sort of 'scenario' would you create to test examples?

''You are looking for a designer to create a new Digital Media product, the designer needs to demonstrate a broad variation in skills and an understanding of the technologies that they use."
